The Customer Value Creation Leader is a global support role focused on enabling the execution of Corteva's customer-centric strategy at the local level. Working closely with regional and local teams, this position provides guidance, frameworks, and tools to help shape value propositions aligned with farmer and crop needs. The role supports the identification of capability gaps, the development of best practices, and the co-creation of solutions and services that enhance customer value. Execution remains the responsibility of the local teams, while this role ensures alignment, consistency, and support across markets. This role may require travel up to 50% of the time.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Support local teams in developing strategies to drive customer-centric value propositions aligned with crop and farmer needs.
  • Support strategies to foster strong relationships with farmers and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their realities and business challenges.
  • Support local teams to Identify the primary gaps in our capabilities as a customer-centric company and develop a plan to address them.
  • Support commercial teams with best practices, training, and tools aligned with customer-centricity.
  • Work extensively with a multi-disciplinary team on solution offer development, ensuring it aligns with customer and crop needs and creates value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance tools and services that better serve clients and accelerate growth.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of value-adding strategies and their correlation with customer satisfaction and the company's results.


Education and Experience:

Degree: Academic background in Agronomy or related agricultural fields with significant experience in the agricultural business.

Other Valuable Experience:
  • Sales or Agronomy experience, ideally with seeds and/or Biologicals, along with a holistic crop experience.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial environment and client needs.


Experience:
  • Over 15 years of experience in agriculture, including at least 10 years in leadership roles.
  • Extensive field experience in sales, agronomy, or marketing roles, with a deep understanding of farmers' and partners' realities.
  • Proven experience in implementing demand-creation tactics and cultivating relationships with farmers and partners.
  • Solid background in commercial management routines.
  • Holistic understanding of the portfolio with the ability to simplify messaging and connect it to farmers' crop needs.


Languages: Fluent in both written and spoken English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of commercial routines and value-adding strategies for farmers and partners.
  • Strong technical knowledge of crops and the company's portfolio, with the ability to communicate effectively through storytelling strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Results- and a business-oriented mindset with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong grasp of the agricultural business environment and Go-To-Market strategies.
  • Effective public speaking and presentation skills to engage audiences in commercial and technical discussions.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
