Job Description
Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Specialty: Therapy
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Outpatient and Inpatient experience, Pediatric and Adult experience
License: Minnesota License, Iowa License
Certifications: Basic Life Support (AHA)
Must-Have: Experience with outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and adult populations
Job Description:
- Primarily focused on outpatient therapy with some inpatient responsibilities.
- Handle a diverse outpatient caseload consisting of both pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform video swallow procedures.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists for co-treatment with pediatric patients.
- Utilize electronic medical records for documentation (system is EPIC).
- Participate in a department-specific orientation program to familiarize with procedures and protocols.
- One day per week of work in an alternate location with mileage to be tracked for reimbursement.
- Adhere to a business casual dress code.
- No weekend or on-call duties.
Note: Local candidates (within 80 miles) are encouraged to apply, and previous experience is a plus.
