As a Sr Manager, Business Development, Clinical Solutions for IDT Americas you will assist in aggressively growing the size of the business over the next three to five years above-industry organic growth. You will be responsible for the strategy development of promoting AMR's NGS Clinical Solutions with the primary focus on Archer AMP solutions in the field of oncology somatic and germline testing. This role requires strategic planning, extensive thought leadership network building while managing and driving customer partnerships, consultations, and scientific collaborations within Americas and with IDT stakeholders, to achieve product line specific and overall short and long term revenue growth goals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Position IDT as a primary or preferred provider for all NGS Clinical Solutions workflows
  • Develop thought leadership network and strengthen IDT's market leadership position.
  • Become the expert on adjacent and core Clinical Genomics markets through primary, proprietary market work.
  • Tracks and trends competitive market share for NGS Clinical Solutions markets and products
  • Develop a 3-to-5-year strategic commercial growth plan for AMR business under the guidance of Director, NGS Clinical Solution Sales. Establish relationships and develop stakeholder strategy focusing on key stakeholders including decision makers and C-Suite level to maximize IDT's value proposition.


Essential requirements:
  • Develop deep understanding of all IDT NGS Clinical Solutions product/technology offerings and how to apply product offerings in various applications (customer needs, competitors, target verticals, relevant applications, and dynamics) based on voice of customer gained through sales calls, research and networking
  • Up to 50% travel.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science related discipline with a minimum of 5 years sales and/or business development experience. Molecular biology reagents/laboratory consumables/capital equipment sales experience is preferred.
  • MBA or PhD in a Life Science discipline with a minimum of 3 years sales or customer related field experience.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Substantial experience and/or formal education that has allowed the development of a deep understanding of a domain and/or industry resulting in key customer insights. Strong financial acumen is essential for success in the role.
  • Ability to demonstrate and speak to the various NGS Clinical Solutions applications to top tier customers (medical centers, academic accounts, Government agencies) specifically to Archer product line solutions.
  • Outstanding planning and organization skills with evidence of creation and execution of successful sales growth plans within life science.


The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
