Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join the *** Private Credit & Equity (PC&E) team to support investment decision-making, portfolio management, and operational efficiencies through advanced data analysis, reporting, and insights generation. This role requires a strong ability to work with complex datasets, develop actionable reports, and collaborate with investment professionals. The candidate will drive scalable efficiencies alongside technology teams by defining business objectives and translating into meaningful technology requirements. This position is remote, working East-Coast hours.

Responsibilities
Technology Liason: Responsible for business analysis and project management, documenting business processes and partnering with technology team to efficienlty deliver solutions.
Data Analysis & Management: Collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data across PC&E strategies, market research, and internal systems.
BI Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain regular and ad-hoc PowerBI or Tableau reports (e.g., performance dashboards, KPI trackers, financial summaries) for internal stakeholders, including investment teams and senior leadership.
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies across various internal processes, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with investment, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:

o 5+ years in a data-focused role, preferably within private equity, investment banking, consulting, or financial services.

o Strong project management skills, including project planning and control, stakeholder management, status tracking and reporting, issue, risk and budget management

o Proven track record of working with large datasets and delivering actionable insights through reporting.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, expereince with PowerBI or Tableau
Preferred experience with eFront, Salesforce, and portfolio management software.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of private equity lifecycle (deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, exit strategies) is preferred.
Communication: Polished written and verbal communication skills able to effectively interact and influence a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders.
