About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity to leverage your experience in the hearing care industry, and embark on a new and exciting career opportunity delivering value as a subject matter expert (SME) across Audiology, Presales, Business Development, Technical Sales and customer-focused audiological IT.

In the new role you will have a substantial impact on the success of our business and should feel comfortable engaging with different customer roles, be it Audiological, IT, Sales, or Top management.

As part of the team, you will span strategic market analysis, to delivering insightful customer presentations and deep-dive demos.

You have a high drive and know how to translate business processes and technical requirements into commercial customer value that will help Auditdata meet ambitious North America commercial targets.

You are both ambitious and enthusiastic, and willing to care for and grow our business across North America in close partnership with our local commercial lead. Likewise, you are driven by delivering sustainable commercial successes, owning and driving forward the technical sales process.

This role involves 20% travelling, both domestic and international.
What you will do:

Business development (20%):
  • Support development of localized sales enablement materials for Sales
  • Investigate and instigate new strategic partnerships together with Sales
  • Explore North American markets for new segments and opportunities to support global go-to-market strategy

Presales Excellence(70%):
  • Own the technical sales process from the first solution-relevant meeting to close and hand-over
  • Engage across customer organizations (IT, sales, audiology, management) as SME and build strategic relationships
  • Represent Auditdata at national and regional conferences as SME to present our solutions
  • Follow-up on all sales leads to answer customer questions and provide in depth product demos
  • Provide product demos in multiple settings, both virtually and in-person
  • Conduct solution evaluations to understand the customer's technical and commercial requirements and match these with Auditdata's internal capabilities
  • Understand the technical aspects of all Auditdata solutions to act as 1st line SME
  • Work closely with Customer Success team to ensure smooth transition to onboarding process for all customers
  • Support the onboarding process for enterprise customers as well as other key accounts

Other Functions (10%):
  • Provide audiological insight within the Auditdata organization
  • Support regions outside of North America when need arises
  • Assist Customer Success with webinars/training videos as needed
Key Skills and expertise:
  • 5+ years within hearing care industry, preferably with a background in full-cycle technical sales
  • Experience as an audiologist strongly preferred
  • Insight into cloud-based SaaS infrastructure, technical limitations, and opportunities is a plus
  • Hands-on experience working in and with clinics/hospital sector and understand how they function
  • Comfortable working with and learning new software solutions in detail and being able to apply the learnings commercially
  • Relevant education such as AuD, MSc, BSc, or equivalent industry experience
