The Senior Director, Human Resources is a critical member of the Ariat Global Human Resources team and is a trusted thought partner, coach, developer of talent, and culture steward focused on delivering measurable results. This individual is a people leader and contributes at both hands-on and strategic levels. The role requires you to implement the people experience strategy and provide strategic advice functional leaders and handle day-to-day matters. This role is a key partner in shaping the people strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, and ensuring alignment between HR and business objectives.

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 per year.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. HR Business Partner Leadership:
- Serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing expert guidance on organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning.
- Partnering with executives to drive business outcomes through innovative HR solutions that align with company goals.
- Managing employee relations issues, investigations, and resolution processes in a fair and consistent manner.
- Coaching managers on people management skills and strategies such as setting clear performance expectations, providing constructive feedback, recognizing positive results, taking correction action, and linking compensation to performance.
- Championing a culture of high performance, inclusion, and engagement.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of HR Business Partners, ensuring they are empowered to support their respective functions effectively.
- Fostering a collaborative HRBP community that shares best practices and drives consistency in HR strategies across the organization.
- Providing coaching and career development opportunities to enhance HRBPs' strategic capabilities.
Strategic HR Execution:
- Driving enterprise-wide talent strategies, including leadership development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Partnering with business leaders and COEs (Centers of Excellence) in Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Development and Engagement to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Utilizing data-driven insights to inform people strategies, improve retention, and enhance employee experience.
Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness:
- Leading HR initiatives related to talent, organizational effectiveness and change, and scaling the company for growth.
- Advising leaders on change management strategies, helping to ensure smooth transitions and strong employee engagement.
- Driving continuous improvement in HR processes and programs to enhance operational effectiveness.
About You
- 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP role leading HRBPs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) a plus.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, organizational development, and talent strategy.
- Excellent judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business, and able to balance objectivity, empathy, and heart when solving challenges and providing guidance.
- Optimistic, open, and empathetic leader who develops strong relationships and connections.
- Experience leading through transformation and scaling teams in a growing, fast-paced organization.
- Ability to leverage HR analytics and insights to drive decision-making.
