Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Experience in insurance regulatory matters including administratively prosecuting licensee disciplinary matters involving producers, insurers, bail agents and/or public adjusters.
Experience leading litigation teams for administrative prosecutions conducted before the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Experience handling civil ligation matters including but not limited to writs of mandamus.
Experience promulgating administrative regulations before the Office of Administrative Law.
Experience leading enforcement actions against insurers based upon market conduct examinations and/or investigative reports.
Experience Interviewing witnesses, responding to discovery requests, issuing subpoenas for documents and witnesses and preparing witnesses for hearing.
Experience independently conducting investigations of insurance fraud, premium theft and financial malfeasance in the insurance marketplace.

Working Conditions
- The incumbent may telework in accordance with CDI's Telework Policy. Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify.
- Occasional travel may be required within and/ or outside the State of California via private or public transportation (i.e., automobile, airplane, bus, train etc.) Travel may include overnight stay(s).
- This is a full-time position that may require working more than 40 hours per week.
