Job Summary

The Director of Enterprise Data is responsible for leading the data analytics strategy and initiatives, driving actionable insights to support business decision-making and operational efficiency. This role provides direction and leadership to the organization's entire data and analytics functions. Director of Enterprise Data plays a critical role in driving data strategy, business insights, healthcare analytics, enhance predictive capabilities, ensure the delivery of value added analytics solutions and data management to empower the organization via strategic decision-making which align with Noridian's goals.
Essential Functions
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Accountable for the data department's delivery to support stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Develops an enterprise data strategy that supports achievement of Noridian strategic goals. Lead the timely and accurate delivery of business analytics projects that drive actionable insights and guide strategic decision-making
  • Translate complex data concepts into business-friendly insights.
  • Continuously evaluate data processes, identifying areas for optimization.
  • Drive innovation through data initiatives, including advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
  • Develops an annual budget, ensures department leadership manages within the budget, and recommends budget modifications to support effective and efficient usage of resources.
  • Promote the best practices in data management and governance, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security as well as compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the data analytics team.
  • Oversee the healthcare analytics function to meet the needs of internal departments as well as external customers.
  • Oversee the data management function including data pipelines, data integration, data integrity, security and availability across the organization.
  • Communicate complex data concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Stays abreast of current and emerging data trends and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR a combination of education and equivalent work experience as determined by HR.
  • 10 years experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale data analytics projects and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies, including machine learning and AI.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications (above qualifications and the following):
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Experience in both business and healthcare analytics is highly desirable.

Below is the salary range for potential new hires.

Salary Range: The pay range for this position is $120,436.17 - $197,788.33 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
