As the Project Leader 2 for Production Agency Quality NEA, you will aid in the effective business coordination with programmatic and line operations. You will work under the direction of the NEA Program-Project Director. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Candidates shall obtain or possess and maintain a Q level clearance*, as well as a SCI (sensitive compartmented information) clearance.

Minimum Requirements
Project Management: Working knowledge of and experience in some aspects of project management of technical or operational work, including developing project plans, work breakdown structures, and work packages; managing to scope, schedule, budget, and/or technical baselines; and/or documenting baseline reports and change control actions.
Finance: Working knowledge of managing cost and schedule commitments for small to moderate projects.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written skills; demonstrated by relationships built, briefings, and presentations. Experience in developing and nurturing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholder to successfully plan, organize, lead, and monitor team efforts to completion.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of the technical or operational discipline of assigned projects including regulatory and Laboratory requirements.
Education: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 5 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience: Knowledge of and/or experience working in a high-hazard nuclear or explosive facility.
Education: Project Management Professional (PMP) of Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
Program requirements: Knowledge of Defense Programs Business Process System requirements, including the product realization process.
Program requirements: Knowledge of NNSA Supplemental Directive SD 452.4-1.

Directive 206.2 - Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2 . Please note that this requirement applies only to citizens of the United States. Foreign nationals are subject to a similar requirement under DOE Order 142.3A.
Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Government, and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance. and obtaining such clearance requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon the position, additional authorization to access classified information may be required, which may or may not be available to dual citizens. Project Leader 2
As the Project Leader 2 for Production Agency Quality NEA, you will aid in the effective business coordination with programmatic and line operations. You will work under the direction of the NEA Program-Project Director. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- With limited direction, oversee and serve as the primary spokesperson for moderately complex non-engineering projects to aid in the planning, negotiation, monitoring, and execution of project plans.
- Assist in the creation of work packages and provide monthly status updates to the NEA Program Manager.
- Serve as the primary interface with project controls engineers for assigned projects and aid other project leaders with their project controls engineering interface.
- Under limited direction, conduct financial forecasting and tracking to ensure projects stay within budget and meet financial goals.
- Negotiate with line organizations to secure resources needed to complete project scope.
- Identify and assist in the management of risks for assigned projects.
