Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Technology is recruiting for a Technology Capabilities Validation Leader, Advanced Therapies Supply Chain (ATSC). This role will be based in Raritan, NJ.

The Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) Advanced Therapies Supply Chain (ATSC) team is an end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain dedicated to accelerating new technology platforms and deliver on our pipeline of transformational medicines in cell & gene therapy, radiopharmaceuticals, and new vaccines.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with deep technical experience and solid understanding of Supply Chain Technologies in this exciting and innovative field of medicine!

As a steward of innovation, you are leading a technical team through design, planning and execution of a sophisticated transactional and data architecture. You will play a key role in validating the future state standard technology template that enables Advanced Therapies to seamlessly interact between internal and external supply chain nodes. You will create a capability mapping and validation framework to test and verify our E2E cell therapy products in partnership with external partners and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). You will provide leadership to strategic programs, projects, and governance teams, as well as other critical initiatives as defined by the Advanced Therapies SC team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology leadership across the entire product development lifecycle, focused on capability mapping for E2E scenarios across all AT products, validation, testing framework and execution. This involves working closely with cross-functional business and technology teams, internal & external.
  • Play a key role in partnership with our ground-breaking ERP team to shape the future state capabilities template and how to tests these capabilities for Advanced Therapies. You will then implement and implement these testing E2E scenarios, coordinating different product teams and IT partners.
  • Develop a product strategy, incorporating AT industry standard methodologies & lessons to accelerate the therapy launch & scale-up in alignment with SC business goals. You will also need to define capability requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that technology products are properly tested, and capabilities delivered as per design.
  • Maintain relationship with key business partners in Advanced Therapies, including Growth & Partnerships, Vein to Vein, Plan, Procurement, Quality and Legal business leaders.
  • Lead the IT-to-IT engagement with external manufacturing/SC partners for validation and testing cycles.
  • Leverage / adapt existing capabilities and strategic programs in other technology platforms to accelerate the technology delivery for AT.
  • Collaborate with business leads and key Product Lines (Supply Chain Integration, Advanced Analytics, ERP, CQuence Sales Force Solutions etc.) to confirm requirements and capabilities, create testing scripts database and implement them on proper program testing cycles.
  • Sit on the External Manufacturing Governance for IT in close collaboration with IT Security & Risk Management.


Other key expectations of the role include:
  • Help to define the technical validation and testing process to enable Cell & Gene Therapy External Manufacturing.
  • Support the development of departmental tools, including dashboards, onboarding tools, information management tools, and communication tools.
  • Lead program activities related to testing and validation, including SIT and BST cycles, UAT, recurring status meetings, executive sponsor meetings, reporting, risk tracking, steering committee meetings, and conflict resolution.
  • Co-create detailed plans with your team, identifying critical paths and timing while meeting strategic intent and achieving key achievements in the production of Cell Therapies.
  • Manage resources to achieve program/project results and coordinate project communication.
  • Ensure problem solving and decision making addressing major risks and issues by identifying, documenting, resolving, communicating, or advancing to senior leadership when appropriate.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business or relevant experience.


Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • 8+ years of experience in technology product management and/or technical program/project management.
  • Experience in technology software integrations and program delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with AT leaders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Experience on testing and validation cycles in large transformation programs.


Preferred:
  • Experience in a Supply Chain technology.
  • Knowledge of autologous cell therapy manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with Multi Echelon Supply Chain Business Networks and other end-to-end planning & supply chain integration technologies.
  • Experience in ERP or Source/Deliver technology capabilities strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.

  • Travel percentage 25% - mixed national / international.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $120,000- $207,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
