What to Expect

The Sr. Quality Engineering Associate is responsible for the delivery of high-quality software across multiple projects by supporting and enforcing QA strategies, automation frameworks, and compliance standards. This position provides technical support, resource management, and risk mitigation to streamline testing efforts and enhance software reliability. In addition, this role facilitates effective collaboration between business teams, vendors, and development groups, ensuring seamless integration of QA processes.

What You Will Do

1. Ensure quality for project implementations:
Create, implement, maintain and enhance test delivery and management of test resources, pipeline, status reporting, test plans, cases, results, and post-implementation reviews.
Provide post-implementation support to business users, ensuring smooth operations.

2. QA Team Support & QA Oversight:
Support the day-to-day operations of the Quality Engineering & Testing team.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure effective QA processes are applied across multiple projects.

3. QA Documentation & Reporting:
Ensure the creation, maintenance, and organization of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect reports, automation scripts, and compliance records, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for audits and process improvements.

4. Monitor QA Metrics & Drive Continuous Improvement for multiple projects:
Track and report key quality metrics, defect trends, and process efficiencies, implementing continuous improvements to enhance software quality and delivery speed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality goals and continuously drive improvements in software quality and testing effectiveness.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary liaison between QA, development teams, business users, and external vendors to align testing efforts with business objectives.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring
Minimum 4-6 years related experience including active participation in production support/maintenance for an enterprise application
Alfa systems experience a plus.
Exposure in test automation development, programming, shell scripting, quality assurance, test execution, and test tools.
Experience in a financial service and / or automotive industry preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Technical Knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Experience with test automation frameworks (Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices,
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile testing principles.
Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools.
Proven vendor relations experience working with 3 rd party vendors.
Analytical & Problem-Solving skills.
Communication & Collaboration Skills
Working knowledge with compliance awareness.

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
