We are seeking a highly strategic and analytically driven Director of Asset Management Strategy to lead key portfolio initiatives aimed at cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and long-term profitability across a diverse hotel portfolio. This role functions as a key analytical role of the asset management team-leveraging sophisticated financial modeling, data analytics, and scenario planning to inform high-impact decisions. The ideal candidate will play a central role in identifying and executing opportunities to unlock value, improve operational efficiency, and support investment and development strategies. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive strategic direction and ensure alignment across the portfolio.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver detailed financial modeling, scenario planning, and benchmarking to guide strategic decisions and evaluate performance.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies that enhance profitability, drive operational efficiency, and optimize performance across the hotel portfolio.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve margins, reduce operating costs, and increase revenue in close collaboration with hotel operators and internal teams based on data and analytics.
  • Oversee or support capital projects add-on developments, and property repositioning's, ensuring alignment with long-term investment goals and asset strategies.
  • Deliver detailed financial modeling, scenario planning, and benchmarking to guide strategic decisions and evaluate performance.
  • Contribute to the preparation of earnings calls, including performance summaries, financial insights, and key talking points for senior leadership and investor relations teams.
  • Partner with operations, finance, development, and ownership teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives, performance targets, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and hotel operators to optimize pricing, distribution, and topline performance across all assets.
  • Track industry trends, market conditions, and competitive positioning to inform proactive strategy adjustments and investment planning.
  • Source, develop, and implement cutting-edge asset management tools, practices, and services that drive long-term value creation.
  • Contribute to internal training, meetings, and conferences by creating and delivering impactful content that supports continuous learning within the asset management department.


  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., engineering, finance, economics, mathematics); advanced degree a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, or a related strategic role, with a proven track record of driving performance through cost control, revenue growth, and value-enhancing strategies
  • Deep interest in the real estate and/or hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
  • Effective communicator with experience presenting to and working with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution
  • Experience with hotel development, capital projects, or property repositioning is a strong plus
  • Strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex problems and can move seamlessly between high-level planning and tactical execution
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a proactive, results-driven mindset
