Amazon Selling Assistant is a strategic initiative that leverages Generative AI to radically simplify the Selling Partner experience. Amazon Selling Assistant leverages state-of-the-art, Generative-AI-powered, multi-agent systems to deliver an always-on assistant that helps sellers launch, manage, and growth their business on Amazon with utmost ease. Amazon Selling Assistant takes away the cognitive load of selling on Amazon by providing a single interface to handle a diverse set of selling needs, including listing products, managing inventory and supply chain, handling product compliance, devising business growth strategies, and much more.

We are looking for a Product leader for Amazon Selling Assistant to join a team of innovative scientists, engineers, product and program managers using state-of-the-art Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies to create a delightful Selling Partner experience. The leader will drive the multi-year vision for Amazon Selling Assistant's core capabilities, by understanding and addressing sellers' challenges, needs and opportunities. This role will play a senior leadership role in one of Amazon's most visible Generative AI initiatives, working with global partners in Selling Partner Experience, FBA, International Seller Services, Emerging Markets, and beyond. The ideal candidate has a track record of developing customer-obsessed products, thinks big about how to solve challenging problems with advanced technologies, and moves fast to deliver solutions that drive meaningful change for customers and the business.

Key job responsibilities
\tLead business and product strategy working jointly with product owners, engineers and scientists to build Generative AI-powered, agentic solutions
\tConvert strategy into discrete initiatives with clear requirements and work with technical teams to prioritize between them.
\tDesign and develop experiments to test hypothesis; define the appropriate metrics to measure results/impact.
\tDevise mechanisms to analyze and synthesize user feedback to rapidly identify and address key areas of need.
\tCollaborate with Amazon senior leaders to identify and prioritize key use-cases.
\tConvert strategy into discrete initiatives with clear requirements and work with technical teams to prioritize between them.

About the team

Selling Partner Experience Science (SPeXSci) is a growing team of scientists, engineers and product leaders engaged in the research and development of the next generation of ML-driven technology to empower Amazon's Selling Partners to succeed. We draw from many science domains, from Natural Language Processing to Computer Vision to Optimization to Economics, to create solutions that seamlessly and automatically engage with Sellers, solve their problems, and help them grow. We are focused on building seller facing AI-powered tools using the latest science advancements to empower sellers to drive the growth of their business. We strive to radically simplify the seller experience, lowering the cognitive burden of selling on Amazon by making it easy to accomplish critical tasks such as launching new products, understanding and complying with Amazon's policies and taking actions to grow their business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics

- Experience leading technical discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience working directly with Engineers and Scientists on product enhancements

- Demonstrated ability to deliver with complete independence in situations where product strategy is not yet defined

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong relationships building skills; experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
