The communications manager will be one of a team of internal communications and design experts supporting a global account. You will deliver exceptional content for various channels in support of a top technology account Executive RE&F and JLL's business initiatives, demonstrate executive oversight, develop the strategic communications roadmap, build team engagement and other, special communication needs.
The communications manager has ownership of developing a strong communications partnership with a designated technology client function and its leaders and serving as that function's designated point of contact for communications support. In this role, the communications manager owns their respective client's communications plan and sets priority for communications projects and deliverables globally. They identify regional and local communication needs/pain points, and manages delivery against their org's communications plan.

They identify regional and local communication needs/pain points, and manages delivery against their org's communications plan.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement key global communications and campaigns to support and drive the organizations' objectives
- Content Creation and Delivery: Develop speeches, presentations, talking points, and executive bios for senior leaders to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external platforms
- Leadership Support: Provide strategic communication counsel to executives, prepare briefing materials, and coordinate communication for organizational changes or events
- Partner with stakeholders to create a communications roadmap based on business initiatives and desired outcomes
- Implement key communications and craft strategic plans (defining the objective, key messages, and tactics) to deliver results
- Partner with design and communication team members to develop and maintain templates and tool kits to streamline the content creation process and enforce global consistency aligned to the latest style guidelines.
- Create and develop new and interesting ways to reach our diverse audiences through various digital channels, email, posters, digital signage, programming, podcasts, videos and other methods you can imagine to keep people engaged with consistent and dynamic content while following client technology guidelines.
- Demonstrate globalization and liaise across regions to ensure global consistency of messaging, process, optimal customer experience
- Assist other communication mangers with special projects and ad hoc requests as they arise.
What You Need to Be Successful
Skills and requirements we'd like to see:
Education/experience
- 7+ years in communications in Executive client facing or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities and portfolio of work with a portfolio of work to demonstrate a variety of deliverables
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Writing, Business Administration, or similar
Languages
- Fluent and flawless written and spoken English is non-negotiable
- Fluency in other languages a plus
Technical knowhow
- Microsoft Office proficiency, with focus on Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. SharePoint experience would be great, too.
- Experience with other social media, internal communication, marketing, or collaboration tools such as Slack and Teams
- Experience creating multi-channel communication campaigns with the tech savvy to seamlessly connect them together
- Adobe Creative Suite or other design/layout tools also a plus
Basic skills and qualifications that get your foot in the door
- A love of people, design and storytelling a must!
- Excellent written communication skills with experience creating engaging content for large and diverse audiences
- Proficient at partnering with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to build strategic communication plans aligned to business objectives
- Experience supporting global communications programs, ideally in real estate projects and operations
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills, a natural collaborator, proactive, and always congenial with coworkers, clients, leaders, and customers alike
- Ability to remain highly-effective in a remote and global environment while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and a willingness to work outside of normal business hours when necessary
- An innovative spirit, curious, outside-the-box thinker, highly adaptable to change, and a preference for simplification of program and process
