Job Summary:

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Convenience Stores is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the overarching strategy, growth, and operational excellence of the convenience store and retail divisions of Quality Oil Company, LLC. This position is instrumental in fostering and enhancing a high-performance culture that is centered around innovation, accountability and customer-centricity. This role requires visionary leadership to drive profitability, optimize vendor and supply chain management, and oversee both branded and unbranded fuel operations. The EVP will be challenged with enhancing current growth in operations while leading a strategic endeavor to ensure seamless expansion and operational success. As a key executive leader, the EVP will work closely with the President and executive team to align the division's goals with the company's broader vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Strategy Leadership: Develop and implement a high-level strategic roadmap that positions the convenience store division for sustained growth, operational excellence, and market leadership.
  • Vendor & Supply Chain Optimization: Lead enterprise-level vendor negotiations, securing strategic partnerships that drive profitability, efficiency, and superior product offerings.
  • Fuel Program Management: Oversee branded and unbranded fuel strategies, ensuring operational efficiencies, compliance, and revenue maximization. Ensure the design and implementation of comprehensive fuel pricing strategies that respond to market dynamics and drive competitive advantage.
  • Expansion & Market Penetration: Embrace the identification and acquisition of new locations, leveraging data analytics and market trends to drive intelligent growth decisions.
  • Construction & Development Oversight: Direct large-scale capital projects, ensuring efficient site selection, timely execution, and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Financial & Operational Performance: Lead financial planning, P&L management, and key performance monitoring to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Executive Leadership & Culture Development: Cultivate and empower a top-tier leadership team by instilling a culture of excellence, strategic thinking, and customer focus. Champion innovation, accountability, and collaboration to drive organizational success and long-term growth.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in convenience store operations, fuel management, or multi-unit retail.
  • Extensive expertise in vendor negotiations, fuel pricing strategies, food service innovation, and enterprise growth strategies.
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale expansion, oversee capital investments, and implement operational best practices.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in multi-million-dollar P&L management.
  • Executive presence with outstanding leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
