As a Strategic Revenue Director, you will be a key architect of success for the firms within the Bluespring community. You will leverage your expertise to drive strategic initiatives, ensuring profitability, growth, and long-term sustainability. Your role as a trusted advisor and decision-maker will be critical in shaping the future of our partner firms.

The Strategic Revenue Director is responsible for driving organic growth across our portfolio of wealth management firms by focusing on strategies that expand client bases, deepen relationships, and increase assets under management (AUM) and distributing and growing the use of Kestra's horizontal value-added capabilities in insurance, investments and trust across the portfolio of Bluespring firms. This role partners with firm leadership and Kestra leadership to develop and implement growth-oriented initiatives that align with overall business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this role successfully, the individual must demonstrate personal ownership of all aspects of the role to create positive results including:

Organic Growth
  • Institutionalize best practices in organic growth across all portfolio firms.
  • Oversee, operate, and evolve the sales and marketing strategy with portfolio firms.
  • Collaborate with firms to improve / optimize their sales organizations including effective pipeline management, repricing initiatives, knowing the ideal client base and articulating the value proposition of our firms to their clients.
  • Work with firms on driving client and COI referrals.
  • Collaborate with firms on repricing initiatives and client segmentation.
  • Train advisors and firms on pipeline management and business development skills to move prospects through lifecycle to become clients. Assess success, evolve skills, and foster accountability.
  • Work with leadership of Bluespring firms to generate unique growth plans that promote each firm's competitive advantage.
  • Work with Kestra Marketing and Identify internal and external solutions and resources so they have the support they need to address areas of opportunity and challenges.
  • Work with Kestra marketing and firms on digital marketing efforts including B2C lead generation.
  • Lead initiatives using insights gathered from data analysis to define advisor strategies, assess advisor performance, inspire team members, and create greater visibility into pipelines and client service.
  • Develop and run customized business development training sessions and role play meetings for financial advisors.


Distribute and grow the use of Kestra Value-added capabilities:
  • Serve as leader with internal partners - Kestra Investment Management (KIM), Kestra Insurance Planning (KIP) and Arden trust (Arden) and other Kestra platform solutions.
  • Work with sales leaders at the internal organizations to help distribute and penetrate their solutions across Bluespring partner firms and advisors.
  • Work with Bluespring partner firms to identify gaps in their client service offering and help promote Kestra's horizontal value-added capabilities to them.
  • Work with Bluespring leadership and leaders at the Kestra Platform Solutions to set clearly measurable goals and report on progress.


Reporting and Performance Metrics:
  • Partner with Bluespring leadership to implement accountability on organic growth across Bluespring advisors (and incorporate into monthly business reviews).
  • Establish framework and develop 3-year organic growth plans for Partner Firms so they can drive progress and achieve goals.
  • Regularly review progress as tracked together with the leadership team. Refine long-term strategy and priorities.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) / scorecard for penetration of horizontal value- added capabilities across the portfolio, regularly reporting progress to the executive team.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and long-term strategy.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, the individual should have the following skills and abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience and success partnering with firm leadership (e.g., CEO, President, Managing Partner of Wealth Management firms) and corporate executive leadership. Includes an ability to coach mid- and senior level executives to produce changed behavior, when appropriate.
  • Proven leadership experience in a portfolio management or multi-firm growth environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in Wealth Management and / or RIA industry in a growth-oriented role.
  • Ability to think strategically, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to influence outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented and practices consistent follow-up to drive accountability.
  • Ability to manage sensitive issues and solve problems.
  • Travel up to 50%.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITIES: None

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • 4-year degree; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory services, or a related industry, with a strong track-record of driving organic growth.
