This position is responsible for all aspects of the Company's operational/management accounting and financial analysis functions including financial close, quality and integrity of the general ledger and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP"), procedures and controls, and preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports to management and the board of directors.

The hiring pay range for this position is $143,575 - $219,144. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Essential Job Functions:
- Provide leadership, strategic direction and oversight to team members.
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger through extensive review of data generated by the accounting staff, daily review of general ledger activity and balances and approval and review of all changes to general ledger accounts. Manage reconciliation of general ledger accounts to subledgers and third-party reports, including researching and reconciling discrepancies, analyzing financial accounts, monitoring daily accounting transactions and reviewing journal entries.
- Ensure accounting practices are in compliance with accounting position memos and policies, including accrual accounting, fixed assets and accounts payable.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and consolidation process and oversee research of variances, accounting and reporting issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial tables for inclusion in earnings release, SEC and regulatory reports.
- Responsible for automation and development of processes to improve efficiencies.
- Ensure internal controls are effective and operating as intended.
- Support activities related to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing of internal controls.
- Responsible for budget process, financial analysis and modeling in support of the strategic activities of the Company.
- Ensure timely and accurate production of monthly reports to Management, Board of Directors and Committees.
- Establish or recommend to management, major corporate economic strategies and objectives for the Company. Oversee annual budgets and modeling of 5-year strategic plan. Oversee preparation of Capital Plan and M&A modeling.

Job Skill Level/Additional Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations. Strong background in public company financial reporting.
- Advanced organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results under time constraints.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; proficient in
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to plan and coordinate projects involving diverse groups.
- Ability to coordinate and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must possess leadership and supervisorial skills with ability to recognize, coach and develop skills in others.
Professional & Educational Experience
- Minimum 10 years related experience and/or training.
- CPA preferred or equivalent combination of experience and/or training
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
