GC Associates USA requires Systems Administrators to administer and support the daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. The Systems Administrator will train staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitor system configuration (hardware and software), and provide instruction on computers and applications.
Additional Requirements: Compliance with the Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives, including any required certifications.
Levels and Requirements:
Level II: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR 2
Level IV: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR 4

- Education: Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Experience: 3 years professional experience in systems administration.
Level IV: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR 4
- Education: Master's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Experience: 10 years professional experience in systems administration.
