Position Summary
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for cultivating and managing robust relationships with high-value clients and overseeing the entire lifecycle of client accounts. The role includes evaluating and mitigating risks associated with these accounts and ensuring regulatory compliance. They address complex client issues, give strategic inputs in new business proposals and mentor account executives by providing training in account management, brokerage systems and tools.

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains strong relationships with strategic clients and provides guidance on investment portfolios and financial planning.
Manages the entire lifecycle of client accounts, from onboarding to maintenance and identifies opportunities for account growth and additional services.
Evaluates and manages risks associated with client accounts and implements advanced risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with risk management teams.
Reviews new business strategies in collaboration with brokers, including proposals and presentations for new client opportunities.
Oversees renewal reviews to provide the client with the optimal solution in the coverage of their assets and the retention of the client.
Reviews market submissions and prepares cover letters for agents and reviews received policies and documents to ensure accuracy.
Reviews client account documentation for accuracy and prepares reports on account performance, transactions, and other metrics.
Resolves complex client issues, escalates problems and collaborates with internal teams to find innovative solutions.
Optimizes the use of brokerage platforms and trading systems for efficiency and collaborates with technology teams for system enhancements.
Ensures adherence to industry regulations and internal compliance policies and oversees compliance reporting and responses to regulatory inquiries.
Mentors a team of account executives and provides training on account management, brokerage systems and tools.
Work Experience and Education:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Brokerage or Insurance Industry with a Bachelor's degree.
Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
Licenses & Certifications:
Prescribed: Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
Preferred: Certified Insurance Professional (CIP)

The target salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
