Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist to join our team. HSHS believes strongly in continually improving performance in our efforts to provide high-quality patient care. The Performance Improvement Specialist facilitates efficient processes throughout HSHS facilities to support our continued growth and efficiency.
Position Specifics:
Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday
Location: 100% remote, accepting applicants that can work remotely and live in AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, NC, NE, NV, TN, TX, OH, WI, or WY.
Compensation that aligns with your experience
Education
Bachelors Degree required in an applicable field (i.e. Management Engineering Nursing or other pertinent degrees); Masters Degree preferred.
Experience
Demonstrated competency in quality management performance improvement and understanding of engineering management or operational redesign principles are required. Minimum of 3 5 years experience in quality/performance improvement field preferred. Recent experience in healthcare organization is preferred. Prior experience with management of large projects or operations management experience required. Demonstrated computer skills (MS Word Excel Access PowerPoint; statistical software and flow documentation software such as Visio) required. Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) is preferred. Experience in Lean Six Sigma and/or Systems Simulation is preferred.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Healthcare quality certification is preferred but not required. Prior clinical training/experience is preferred but not required. ASQ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (required within 12 mos. of hire): or an equivalent Masters degree (Masters in Analytics, Applied Statistics or a related field)
Valid driver's license required.

$35.92 - $53.88
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
