Overview:
The Senior Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving organizational success by managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion. This position focuses on collaboration, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement, leveraging deep organizational knowledge to foster innovation and achieve results. The Senior Project Manager partners closely with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership from sales, operations and marketing to inspire teams, lead change initiatives, and deliver impactful outcomes.

The primary focus of this role will be on sales functions around initiatives that support growth, workflow and process improvement, KPIs, team development and enhanced broker engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Execution:
  • Work in conjunction with sales leaders, assessing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Creates, implements and executes sales strategies to achieve specific business objectives.
  • Conduit between sales and marketing to plan, track and execute marketing needs for sales team and align efforts.
  • Define project scope, goals, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with cross-departmental stakeholders, ensuring buy-in at all levels.
  • Develop, lead, and manage detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Tracking project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Identifying and resolving complex issues and roadblocks.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resources and timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Team Mentorship and Collaboration:
  • Design, coordinate or execute a training plan for sales team members.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Strategic Partnership:
  • Serve as a key advisor to the Sales leadership team, utilizing organizational knowledge to provide strategic recommendations that support business goals.
  • Lead ideation sessions with stakeholders to identify and prioritize new project opportunities.
  • Act as a catalyst for change by seeking opportunities to align projects with corporate objectives and future growth targets.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external clients/team members to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.

Process and System Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process and system enhancements, providing actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during project implementation.

Stakeholder Communication and Engagement:
  • Facilitate, build and maintain strong relationships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, and senior leadership.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, presentations, and insights to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.
  • Proactively gathering feedback and incorporate into project plans.

Risk Management:
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate potential risks that could impact project's success.

Continuous Improvement/Monitor and Post-Project Evaluation:
  • Tracks key sales metrics and analyzes performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Tracks key sales metrics, analyzes performance data to identify areas for improvement and develops strategies to implement based on leading/lagging indicators.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for future improvements.
  • Develop and execute best practices for project execution and management.

Skills and Requirements
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience with 7+ years of hands-on project management experience.
  • Project Management Experience: Advanced project management background and proficiency in documenting workflows, defining business processes and developing specifications. Experience establishing and/or managing KPIs and reporting is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Advance level in PowerPoint and SalesForce preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Advanced planning, multitasking, and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering high quality results in dynamic environments.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work on-site and remotely.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to either Northern or Southern California as needed and on occasion may need to travel outside of California to attend national meetings, including multi-day trips, to support project needs.
  • Change Management Expertise: Experience planning and leading change management efforts within cross-functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven success in fostering teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration on interdependent projects.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Physical and Practical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 5 pounds, and perform routine office tasks such as filing and document preparation.

Compensation
  • Annual Salary Range*: $113,400 - $151,200 per year
  • Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education, and/or skill level.
  • * The hourly or salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
