What you will do...
  • Develop, communicate, and implement a strategic vision for Corporate Claims, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Define and enforce standardized claims handling procedures, policies, performance benchmarks, and best practices across all lines of business.
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction to the Manager, Vendor Partnerships, ensuring vendor strategies are aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal outcomes in leakage control, cost management, and CAT readiness.
  • Collaborate on complex vendor negotiations and agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Establish and oversee comprehensive corporate claims reporting systems to deliver insights and analytics to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate claims performance and initiating strategic improvements.
  • Ensure detailed, transparent reporting to stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic claims insights and support to other internal teams, aligning Claims initiatives with broader corporate risk management and profitability objectives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports and Claims leaders.
  • Collaboratively identify training opportunities for Claims staff.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture characterized by accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Effectively lead and oversee high-impact corporate Claims projects.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage risks and barriers to successful project execution.

What you will bring...
  • 8-10 years in senior claims management roles, with extensive experience leading complex claims strategies and operations.
  • Experience managing strategic vendor partnerships, analytics-driven performance management, and high-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Insurance, or related discipline; CIP designation strongly preferred.
  • Advanced strategic claims knowledge, including regulatory compliance, claims performance analytics, vendor management, and risk mitigation.
  • Proficient with claims management software, analytical platforms, and comprehensive reporting tools.
  • Exceptional strategic leadership, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities, adept at fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead complex, high-stakes projects and initiatives under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and achieving excellence in claims management and customer service.
