We are looking for a Senior Business Program Manager on our Continuous Improvement team in the Monetization + Business Planning organization to help Microsoft lead the world into a new era of experiences powered by artificial intelligence.
Microsoft's Monetization and Business Planning team is at the heart of transforming products and services into value for customers and partners while driving growth for Microsoft. As a Senior Business Program Manager on the Continuous Improvement team, you will own the incident management (ICM) program for pricing and billing challenges across all products in the company's broad portfolio, such as Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Azure, Power Platform, Windows, and our artificial intelligence services such as Copilot. You will collaborate with engineering, product business planners, finance, product marketing, and senior leaders to deeply understand, fix, and prevent issues impacting enterprise, public sector, and commercial customers, and Microsoft's internal teams. You will also both drive and contribute to initiatives to improve our ability to deliver launches quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality. As a critical member of the Continuous Improvement team, you will help to foster a lean culture where we have a common belief that improvement is always possible and create a shared sense of responsibility and optimism and a constant desire to learn as individuals and as an organization.

Responsibilities:
- Define, execute, and manage the process used to swiftly mitigate issues of varying levels of impact
- Map and analyze the process used to fix issues; identify and drive improvements leveraging Lean methodology
- Analyze the root causes of issues to deeply and unemotionally understand the truth of why they occur
- Work with process and engineering SMEs to define and execute workstreams to prevent issues moving forward
- Measure and report on incident metrics at both leadership and granular altitudes
- Represent Monetization and Business Planning organizations in executive forums to drive understanding and accountability with both business and engineering teams
- Drive and contribute to other projects to continuously improve product launch processes

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Finance, Business Management, Computer Science or a related field AND 4+ years' experience in Operations, Process Design, Product Management, Program/Project Management, Strategy Consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years' experience in process management or process improvement.
- 1+ years' experience in project management specifically prioritizing multiple activities to deliver on project scope and schedule.
- 1+ years' xperience working across engineering, business planning, and operations teams (or similar) to clearly communicate improvement ideas and significant business impact, and obtain buy-in to improvement opportunities.
- 1+ years' experience managing and mitigating incidents.
