The Opportunity:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for a Business Operations Assistant Manager to lead and supervise Contract Closeout responsibilities. This position will manage a team in a collaborative environment, overseeing a broad range of administrative and financial closeout functions. The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for setting goals, ensuring efficient execution of processes, and driving operational results within the contract closeout area.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of junior to mid-level professionals in a fast-paced environment, setting monthly closeout goals to eliminate the contract closeout backlog efficiently and effectively
Plan and establish short-term operational objectives for the team, directly impacting departmental results
Manage communication across internal and external stakeholders to obtain concurrence for closeout, explaining policies and procedures as needed
Oversee the reconciliation of contract costs against applicable current rates and prior receivables to determine any additional final billing
Ensure the timely review, preparation, and submission of closeout documents
Manage projects and processes within the contract closeout area
Coach, direct, and review the work of team members, providing input on performance management
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the performance of the job area

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience in contract closeout or similar field
- Advanced understanding of contract closeout principles and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong sense of customer service
- Adaptability and problem-solving capabilities
Desired:
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, WAWF, and Cognos
- Knowledge of government accounting and contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP)
- Research and analysis background
