Job Summary:
CF Industries is the world's largest producer of ammonia and a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the construction of a state-of-the-art, large-scale facility dedicated to producing low-carbon ammonia. This industry-transforming plant is being built from the ground up, utilizing the latest ATR technology combined with carbon capture and sequestration (CCS). This advanced technology is expected to reduce emissions from the ammonia production process by more than 90% compared to conventional plants without CCS. While we are not the first company to build a plant with ATR technology, this will be the largest of its kind.
Position Overview:
The Site IT Leader's role is to ensure the efficient operation of information technology in alignment with the business objectives of the Plant. This individual will plan and direct the daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Site Leader will work closely with other Plant departments to implement and support cost-effective technology solutions. This person will ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and best practices. They will insure efficient and reliable Plant IT services.
Job Description:
What you'll do:
Ensure proper functioning of plant information systems, minimize downtime, and make proactive upgrades to maintain optimal performance.
Assist business operations in utilizing information systems to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions, typically overseeing 2 to 5 direct reports.
Define and test high availability network and PC recovery procedures regularly to ensure readiness in case of system failures.
Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects, managing budgets of $1m to $3m per plant.
Maintain communications equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, remote access, etc.) and manage phone system implementation at the plant to ensure reliable connectivity.
Ensure knowledge and management of CF Plant technology stack: Cisco networks, Dell hardware, Azure stack servers, Windows Server Operating System, Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot and SharePoint, SAP Corporate ERP.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in a management position.
Strong background in IT Services with an emphasis on service desk management in the manufacturing, chemicals or oil & gas industries.
Familiarity with ITIL practices for IT service management.
Some experience in project management environment is an asset.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Highly self motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.
MCSA, MCSE, VCP certifications a plus
Proficiency with these IT Management and Governance processes:

o Configuration management.
o Asset Management.
o Release and patch management.
o Incident resolution and request fulfillment
