Colonial Group is seeking a skilled and results-oriented IT Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a variety of IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions that align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and senior management to support and enhance the technology infrastructure that powers our supply chain, wholesale distribution and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities include managing timelines, budgets, and resources, defining project scope and deliverables, mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful integration of technology solutions across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by the logistics and supply chain industries and a proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget.

This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of IT systems, software solutions, and supply chain technologies.

JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES
  • Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders from the business, and other sources, to document business and process requirements for new technology.
  • Coordinate & facilitate the documentation of Statements of work, scoping, functional specifications and user acceptance testing
  • Working closely with the IT PMO, ensure adherence to operating and engagement model for coordinating demand management, prioritization, delivery, and communications with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the organizational governance of the company's technology project portfolio by working with Technology and Business Leadership to align business initiatives, operational governance and planning, and transparency into the active portfolio of projects.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand existing business processes, ensure functional and technical requirements are created, facilitate vendor evaluations, and execute system implementations.
  • Partner with IT Business Partners on Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities ensuring adoption of technology solutions
  • Ensure proper scope, financial and delivery management artifacts are created, recorded and adhered to.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • 10 + years of program or project management experience implementing software and technology solutions.
  • Successful delivery of a number of business technology platforms.
  • Experience in logistics, wholesale distribution, or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of project planning tools, such as OnePlan, Jira or Microsoft Project with evidence of practical application.
  • PMP, SMART Agile, Product Lifecycle Development Certification preferred.
  • Full end-to-end deployment of ERP platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage several projects at once.
  • Skilled communicator with experience forming alliances and bringing together multiple. stakeholders to execute on a common mission.
