Job Description:
Job Summary: The Director of Supply Chain Systems & Analytics is responsible for overseeing the technology, data analytics, and operational performance of the network's supply chain. This role focuses on leveraging data-driven insights, optimizing supply chain processes, and implementing advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making. The Director will work collaboratively with IT, finance, procurement, and clinical teams to ensure the seamless integration of supply chain systems with overall health system objectives.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
Oversees the selection, implementation, and optimization of supply chain management systems, including ERP, inventory management, and data analytics platforms. Develops and maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement. Identifies inefficiencies in supply chain operations and implement data-driven solutions to enhance procurement, distribution, and inventory management. Works with IT, finance, and clinical teams to integrate supply chain technologies and align them with organizational objectives. Utilizes data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve vendor negotiations, and enhance financial performance. Ensures supply chain systems and processes adhere to regulatory requirements, cybersecurity protocols, and industry best practices. Provides data-driven insights to support supplier selection, contract negotiations, and vendor performance evaluation. Leads a team of supply chain analysts and technology specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess and implement emerging supply chain technologies. Conducts regular audits, ensuring system reliability, and continuous improvement in line with organizational priorities. - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, analytics, or technology, preferably in a healthcare setting to include the below:
- Expertise in supply chain systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong ERP and Point of Use knowledge with preferred familiarity with Lawson/Infor, Inventory Management Systems, GHX, SharePoint, Tableau, SmartSheets, and Power BI.
