The Opportunity:

Use your creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to improve organizational mission performance and continuity of operations in for the Intelligence Community. By creating and testing real-world scenarios, you know how to help our government clients prepare for emergencies and enhance continuity of operations plans.

As an exercise planner on our team, you'll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, identifying lesson learned and areas for improvement that compliment emergency management and continuity of operations activities. You'll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact.

You'll work cross-functionally with subject matter experts and senior leadership developing test, training, and exercise activities that are making a positive impact on critical missions.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience developing and leading test, training, and exercise programs in support of continuity of operations or emergency management activities
  • Knowledge of federal continuity and emergency management test, training, and exercise directives
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts and senior leadership to develop comprehensive continuity and emergency management training and exercises
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience leading government exercise in the Intelligence Community
  • Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSSEP) or Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
