Job Overview
The Director, FP&A- New Business & MIX will be responsible for leading the MIX finance team responsible for supporting M&A evaluations/analytics, M&A financial integration, new businesses and core marketing functions (such as creative, media, sponsorships, business development). Given T-Mobile's long-range growth aspirations it is important to strategically evaluate multiple M&A opportunities and once a decision has been made to acquire a company coordinate the financial integration including defining synergy commitments and tracking progress against delivery of synergy commitments. This position will be responsible for influencing senior leaders across strategy, finance and other impacted organizations around M&A opportunities. This position will also provide budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, business case/ROI analysis for the leaders in the MIX team responsible for new businesses and core marketing functions.

Base Pay Range: $168,000 - $227,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 25%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.

Un-carrier Responsibilities
- Develop, facilitate and guide the Financial Budget, Plan, and Forecast processes inclusive of capital planning.
- Analyze new growth opportunities including organic/inorganic options. Support business case and planning for M&A activities including definition of synergies, tracking and monitoring progress against synergy commitments.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks associated with forecasts and engage with the business areas to propose solutions.
- Overall responsibility to analyze, review, prioritize and recommend investment opportunities company wide.
- Gather investment opportunity proposals from business areas and validate business plan assumptions. Support Investment Owners with economic analysis for large/complex proposals.
- Work with decentralized finance organizations to analyze impact on cost structure and other key metrics in the short and long term.
- Develop and implement ways to capture the mid and long-term impact to the P&L from Capital Investments in the business.
- Develop/consolidate executive level financial narrative and presentations supporting the MIX organization
- Represent FP&A is various assigned ad-hoc projects.
The Experience You'll Bring
- At least 4-7 years' experience in FP&A or a similar finance role performing planning, forecasting and analysis.
- At least 4-7 years leadership experience managing and coaching personnel.
- More than 10 years relevant work experience.
- Additional wireless/telecommunications industry experience preferred.
