Description:
Qualis LLC is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to provide support to the746TS at Holloman AFB, NM. You will serve as a senior professional electronics engineer with operational responsibility in assigned area(s) and technical oversight of projects. You are considered the technical expert for the organization in electronics engineering assignments concerning instrumentation, data acquisition and controls; employee provides technical leadership and management to ensure project/program success. Work encompasses several phases of the development process in which the employee guides and evaluates the design and development activities of others.
Essential Functions:
1. Design and develop data acquisition and command-and-control hardware systems and software.
2. Create and refine wiring diagrams to facilitate the fabrication of test equipment.
3. Troubleshoot data collection and control software and hardware.
4. Collaborate with customer to diagnose and resolve instrumentation issues.
5. Contribute to test design in alignment with predefined objectives.
6. Oversee equipment operation throughout the test execution phase.
Requirements
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or other relevant field with 3-10 years' experience. Experience may be substituted for education with government approval.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Security Clearance:
Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with last investigation within 6 years.

- US Citizenship required
- Must hold an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance or must be able to obtain a secret clearance
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
