Summary:
Develops, implements, and improves the Quality Management System, quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Responsibilities include quality reporting, analysis, internal audits, and championing initiatives with operations to support continuous quality improvement using a variety of applicable tools. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Ensure the company has the required approvals to be able to operate specific to AS9100 requirements, Customer Specific approvals, and NADCAP for Chemical Processing, Non-Destructive Testing, and Heat Treat/ Pyrometry. Manage a team of specialized Quality Engineers who are responsible for Customer Returns & Product Investigation, Special Process Approvals, Calibrations, Internal Audits and Document Control. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies internally and with the customer. Investigates problems, develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Internal expert/resource on all quality systems implemented
- Support, monitor and continually improve all quality systems
- Quality Audit Facilitation
- Quality Systems representative for contract clause approval
- Continually monitor training system and records
- Maintain, monitor and report on performance against Quality Objectives
- Coordinate the Management Review process
- Train employees on quality procedures & monitor performance
- Support a safety-oriented culture within the company
- Participate in the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture
- Provide good feedback and promote good communication
- Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements
- Expert in Lean Quality Tools (FMEA, Pareto Charts, Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Why's, 8D) and their implementation to improve the organization
- Inspection background preferred
- Maintain MDI Board
- Desktop Audits and Survey's
- Ability to execute and teach Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent previous experience preferred
- AS9100 Lead Auditor certified or equivalent ISO9001 certification preferred
- 10+ years of management experience
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, technical specifications, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
