SAP IT Application Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IT Application Consultant to join our team and support the S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) module. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed blueprints for S/4HANA development requirements and providing functional support around the SAP PP module. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP PP and integration with other SAP Supply Chain modules, including MM, SD, and MES systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Expertise:

• Provide functional support for the SAP PP module, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, SD, and IBP).
• Design and implement solutions in SAP PP, including capacity planning, material planning, production orders, bill of materials (BOM), and goods movement.
• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP configuration and solutions.
• Blueprint Development:
• Develop detailed blueprints for the development requirements of S/4HANA and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Analyze business processes and provide expert guidance on how to best leverage SAP PP functionalities to optimize production processes.
• System Integration:
• Integrate SAP PP with other Supply Chain modules, ensuring smooth data flow and efficient process execution across the system.
• Provide support and guidance for integrating SAP PP with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to production planning processes, such as planning, execution, and goods movement.
• Support production issues related to SAP PP, including system configurations and enhancements.
• Collaboration & Training:
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and other SAP consultants, to ensure effective delivery of SAP solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to business users on SAP PP functionalities and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for SAP PP processes and ensure that SAP solutions evolve with the business needs.
• Stay updated on new SAP features and functionalities to recommend and implement improvements in SAP PP.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working with SAP PP module, with a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP Production Planning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP functionalities and core processes such as production order execution, material planning, and BOM management.
• Proven experience in integrating SAP PP with other Supply Chain modules (MM, SD, IBP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Awareness of business processes related to the MM/SD cycle in SAP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in SAP PP configuration and customization.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, including its capabilities and functional modules.

Certifications:

• SAP certification in S4 Manufacturing/PP is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of integrated SAP Supply Chain processes, including MM, SD, and IBP.

Experience working in an Agile or project-based environment with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently.

Flexible and proactive approach to working in a dynamic team environment.
