As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead our Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering teams. Your team is responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will develop and oversee the implementation of efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional leadership, including production, quality, and operational excellence, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing operations, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest level of product quality for Honeywell. You will report directly to our Plant Director and you will work out of our Freeport, IL location on a On-site work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead our Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams to grow their skills and careers at Honeywell
Identify and oversee process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues promptly
Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost-effective solutions, and ensure that manufacturing operations are optimized for efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to ensure smooth production processes
Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop strategies to mitigate them
Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with relevant industry regulations and safety standards

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $213,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a generalguideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well asmarket and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
3+ years of experience managing individual contributors and/or managers
Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
