Project Manager - Commercial HVAC - Austin

Daikin Applied is seeking a Project Manager based out of the Austin Service Center. The Project Manager - Austin is a newly added position, and a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and within funding parameters. Location: In office; Austin, TX.

What you will do:

• Reviews project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.
• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
• Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
• Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 2+ years of related project experience, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or comparable industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

The typical salary for this position ranges from $$80,400 - $132,800 in Texas. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
