ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll lead Audible's global organic social influencer strategy, crafting innovative episodic campaigns featuring social influencers and creators that resonate globally and drive organic social objectives around engagement, growth and interest in becoming an Audible listener. Your talent for identifying perfect influencers will bring our brand to life. You'll foster high quality collaboration with the Global Head of Social Media and cross-functional teams, aligning influencer efforts with thematic initiatives and other business priorities. Your expertise will optimize our influencer marketing, bringing clarity to teams and strengthen partnerships with other internal teams executing influencer campaigns, through your own influencer and leadership capabilities. You'll create an environment where creativity thrives and executional teams feel valued. By leveraging your skills in influencer selection and content creation, you'll shape how Audible connects with listeners through authentic voices, enhancing our brand presence and audience engagement and be seen as a trusted and respected expert amongst your colleagues.
ABOUT YOU
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the global influencer landscape and how it can bring new audiobook listeners to Audible. Your negotiating skills and cultural pulse will be key in securing the best deals and identifying culturally relevant influencers. You have a collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships internally, via agencies and with influencers. Your creativity will shine in ideating hero moments for the brand, and your diligence in researching and vetting influencers will ensure a seamless and authentic brand presence. Your talent for identifying perfect influencers will bring our audio stories to life. You'll foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligning influencer efforts with thematic initiatives and Tier 1 titles. Your expertise will optimize our influencer marketing, bringing clarity to our global program and strengthening global-local partnerships. As an Associate Director, Influencer, Global Social, you will...
- Negotiate and secure cost-effective influencer deals, ensuring cultural relevance and a strong brand fit while maximizing our budget and deliverables for the brand
- In collaboration with the Global Head of Social Media, support Audible's goals in organic social engagement, growth and awareness while developing and executing global organic social influencer strategies aligned with Audible's brand objectives
- Stay ahead of the cultural curve, keeping a pulse on emerging influencers and cultural trends to ensure our brand remains relevant and engaging, and connects to larger business priorities across the team
- Conduct diligent research and vetting of hero influencers, ensuring they align with our brand values and a positive impact on our audiences across social media platforms
- Ideate and create hero influencer moments for the brand through leadership alignment, cross-team collaboration, and creative thinking
- Manage and oversee agency relationships and associated budget, ensuring maximum value and Return on Investment for the team and brand
- Build positive, strong relationships with local teams and paid media to ensure cohesive influencer strategies while respecting team boundaries in roles and responsibilities between organic and paid
- Transparently measure and report on organic influencer campaign performance, providing insights for continuous improvement and ensuring coverage across a variety of Audible social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and others

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in social media marketing with a focus on innovative influencer strategies and skilled in contract negotiations
- Experience identifying and engage top-tier influencers and creators across various platforms that are brand-right
- Experience building and developing partnerships with influencers, internal teams, and agencies
- Experience developing and executing successful global social media campaigns in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Portfolio showcasing creative influencer collaborations and their measurable impact in driving goals/metrics
- Experience navigating fragmented organizational structures and influencing and leading without direct reporting lines
- Experience articulating creative visions and complex strategies to diverse audiences
- Experience using social media analytics tools and performance measurement, with a data-driven approach to campaign optimization and target achievement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with major global brands on influencer-led campaigns
- Knowledge of and passion for the audiobook or content/entertainment industry
- Multilingual capabilities
- Project management skills with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams
