Key job responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Engineer on the Just Walk Out team, you will:
* Drive Quality from Day One
* Partner with stakeholders to define project scope
and success criteria
* Develop comprehensive test strategies that
anticipate customer needs
* Create detailed test plans that raise the bar for
quality standards
* Own End-to-End Testing Excellence
* Design and implement robust automated test
suites using industry-leading tools
* Execute complex test scenarios across software
and hardware integrations
* Perform strategic manual testing for nuanced
customer experience validation
* Lead Technical Problem-Solving
* Dive deep into system behaviors to isolate root
causes
* Collaborate with development teams to drive
efficient issue resolution
* Apply data-driven insights to improve testing
coverage
* Maintain and Scale Quality Standards
* Build and maintain regression test frameworks
that scale
* Implement continuous testing practices that
keep pace with rapid deployment
* Document and share best practices across
partner teams
* Drive Customer-Focused Solutions
* Work backwards from customer needs to
prioritize testing efforts
* Identify and advocate for quality improvements
that enhance customer experience
* Balance technical trade-offs while maintaining

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $102,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
