Trading Analyst
Stamford, CT - USA
Scope: We are seeking a Trading Analyst to conduct quantitative analysis of the performance of renewable energy markets, including renewable fuels, biofuels and feedstocks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Analyze data on price, yield, stability, trends, and other economic influences, and integrate findings into financial forecast models for the company's renewable energy trading desk.
Perform valuations of renewable energy investments and securities. Report daily pricing exposure for current and upcoming physical commodities deliveries and purchases.
Work with company traders and accountants to execute futures, calculate and report profit and loss, and evaluate risk exposure.
Also work with company lawyers to ensure adherence to compliance and sustainability audits.
No supervisory responsibilities are required.
Qualifications:
We require a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, data engineering, finance, math/stats, or a related field from an accredited U.S. university, or the foreign equivalent.
This is a full-time position based at our Stamford, CT office, with an annual salary from $115,000 to $160,000.
