The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Completes defined scope and standards of practice. Engages in environmental scanning to identify practice gaps and collaborates with others in improving practice and healthcare outcomes. Functions as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. Supports learning, change, professional role competence and growth, which ultimately lead to optimal patient care, population health, and protection of the public.
FT position available, flexible hours including some off shifts to meet the educational needs of the unit. Position will be 50% clinical and 50% office/education

Will assess, design/develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs, assuring all regulatory requirements are met. Will provide educational resources, leadership, and PFCC support for Urgent Care. Must have a strong clinical base as well as an interest/background in quality assurance, care management, orientation, continuing education, and safety. The main areas of focus will be orientation, in-services, competency development, documentation, clinical improvement projects, and career advancement. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Requirements: MS in Education, 3-5 years of acute care experience, and an active New York State RN license in good standing.
