Role Overview

Job Title: Director of Product Management
Location: Austin, TX

Reports to: VP of Product and Technology

The Senior Manager/Director of Product Management is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of Restore's product roadmap, with special focus on our studio-related digital platforms including point-of-sale systems, integration with consumer web/mobile applications, and electronic health record systems. This role will drive innovation that enhances the client experience while supporting business growth across our wellness service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of our product strategy for POS, consumer applications, and internal systems with a mobile-first, always-accessible, responsive design approach
  • Oversee the transformation of our technology stack with bifurcated infrastructure for backend/API and front-end teams
  • Drive product initiatives that increase recurring membership revenue and support growth in service offerings, including therapies and skin health services
  • Establish product requirements, prioritize features, and create roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the design of intuitive point-of-sale systems optimized for appointment scheduling, inventory management, and service delivery
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimization for stability and fast page load speeds
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Medical teams to ensure product solutions meet client and practitioner needs
  • Analyze product performance data to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Lead a high-performing product management pod, including nearshore and domestic team members
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital commerce, wellness services, and user experience design


Requirements
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of product management experience
    • Demonstrated experience designing, managing or using point-of-sale systems in service-based businesses
    • Experience with appointment scheduling systems, inventory/SKU management, and service delivery platforms
    • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms and membership/subscription management systems
    • Background in mobile-first application development and responsive web design
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and product lifecycle management
    • Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
    • Experience with modern web development practices and high-level understanding of API vs front end development
    • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Strategic thinker balancing long-term vision with short-term execution
    • Customer-centric approach to product development with emphasis on user experience
    • Experience in wellness, healthcare, retail, or service industries preferred but not required
  • Certifications/Licenses:
    • Product Management or Agile certifications a plus
