OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Team Leader to provide leadership and direct clinical services within an interdisciplinary team. The Clinical Team Leader will oversee a caseload of clients while also providing supervision and guidance to clinical staff, ensuring high-quality mental health and addiction services for children and adolescents in crisis. This role is integral to supporting participant well-being and academic success through evidence-based interventions and comprehensive care planning.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide direct clinical services, including comprehensive diagnostic assessments, participant-centered care planning, and individualized treatment interventions.
  • Maintain an active caseload, delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management in collaboration with medical professionals.
  • Offer crisis intervention and coordinate linkages to additional services and resources within the Westchester County System of Care.
  • Ensure the successful achievement of participant-determined outcomes through evidence-based, holistic care.
  • Supervise clinical staff, providing consistent weekly expert supervision and professional development opportunities.
  • Review clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in biweekly staff meetings and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:
  • Assist in shaping clinical policies, best practices, and innovative treatment approaches.
  • Stay updated on advancements in behavioral health treatment and integrated care services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and client engagement.


QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff.
  • Positive attitude and ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Deep belief in behavioral health recovery, harm reduction, and person-centered holistic care.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based substance use and mental health treatment practices.
  • Commitment to social justice and principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • New York State Licensure: LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC; CASAC-T or CASAC a plus.
  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
