Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in Education or certification in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Experience in a career-technical setting.
- Ohio Teacher/Principal Evaluation System credential preferred.
- Knowledge of Ohio Revised Code regarding school law and state requirements for educational or contractual issues, or experience with comparable state requirements.
- Proven ability in recruiting and selecting top candidates for a variety of positions.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and administration.
- Valid Ohio driver's license.
Description:
- Assists in managing the activities of the district human resources department.
- Assists in maintaining adequate staffing.
- Works with the Vice-President and Benefits Manager to evaluate the district's benefits program.
- Serves as the superintendent's representative to the Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC).
- Manages district evaluation systems for all associates.
- Ensures compliance with laws and regulations for human resources.
- Establishes and maintains current job descriptions, job classifications and job postings.
- Prepares HR budget to reflect employment needs.
- Plans and directs a recruitment program for selection and assignment of district associates.
- Maintains relationships with affiliated schools, State Department of Education, Educational Service Centers and other professional associations as applicable.
- Assists with professional development activities.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of technology utilized by the district.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must satisfy all job-related attendance requirements
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
