HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for managing the Technical Sales and Customer Service organizations of the Contract Manufacturing and Metal Machining business within a specific key customer. Meets customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, including developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Meets annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. Requires Domestic and International travel.
Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Provide hands-on leadership to the Sales &Customer Service.
Develop key account strategies and market segment strategies focused on growth.
Develop and maintain revenue, cost of sale, departmental cost center spending and commission plans that fully support an annual operating plan.
Ability to identify and understand potential Ferrotec opportunities by knowing technical aspects of the applications.
Ability to read and understand customer drawings as well as provide guidance to the customer about better ways to manufacture potential components or assemblies.
Provide periodic forecast revisions to the revenue budgets - monthly and quarterly.
Maintain high level of field sales efficiency through direct involvement with the sales team and channel sales representation.
Deter competition through optimal account management and customer support activities.
Optimize field sales performance through motivation, effective communication of objectives and priorities, leadership, ongoing sales/product training, performance evaluations, sales meetings, and presence in field.
Manage Customer Service Representatives to provide a positive customer experience as well as providing clear operational communications.
Organize and participate in trade shows.
Work with Marketing to support product and marketing strategies
Identify and qualify new growth areas for existing technology/products outside traditional markets to support group's growth targets.
Work with Marketing, Application and Design Engineering, and R&D to assist in new product development.
Implement strategies to penetrate new business opportunities as defined by Marketing along with developing those specific to the account base.
Provide Manufacturing with input for forecasting the product/volume mix in the various market segments.
Work closely with top FT management to plan future strategies and direction of business.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
BS/ BA degree in business or engineering.
Business experience of 10 to 15 years with 5+ years devoted to sales/sales management.
Strong selling, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Candidates may be required to pass eligibility of ITAR compliance work capability.
Travel requirement is ~50% including occasional international.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Knowledge of Semiconductor Process Tools.
