In this role, you will:
- Lead, coordinate or participate in product management initiatives and deliverables for product lines or services
- Review and analyze risk and controls for new products or enhancements including identification of new controls, evaluating existing controls, and participating in risk and control processes
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet project goals, objectives and deliverables
- Ensure programs adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies
- Collaborate and consult with managers, analysts and project teams to ensure that goals are achieved
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor
- Contribute to product analysis, conduct market and competitor research
- Rally the team and stakeholders around a product vision and influence prioritization across partner teams
- Guide the team through translating customer insights into priorities and develop a strategic vision for the product that aligns with business direction
- Lead the team in conducting customer discovery to deeply understand the needs of our internal and external customers.
- Understand and effectively leverage technology in product design
- Effectively manage and develop the team and foster a culture of talent development
- Manage the team with a risk-minded approach and care for governance and regulatory / risk / control needs
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in product management and product development
- Credit card industry experience
- Banking Domain Experience
- Experience supporting technical projects
- Experience articulating business needs and complex technical data with both technical and business partners
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, including leading backlog refinement, writing features and user stories, managing product roadmaps, and driving end to end project delivery.
- Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
- Strong project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Highly refined communicator, with experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
- Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with a broad constituency of stakeholders
- Proven ability to facilitate high impact conversations, navigate conflict and negotiate for an outcome that balances the needs of the business
- Risk management and control process experience
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
