EDO is a linchpin of an ecosystem of data-first functions that will work together seamlessly to enable Amerihealth to achieve the true value of data. As Director of Enterprise Data Products, you will be an established change agent and a collaborative leader who supports the delivery of EDO's mission. You will have broad responsibility for executing on our data strategy which includes provides hands-on and thought leadership around enterprise data products that enable data science, advanced analytics and business intelligence. This role would create & execute the vision and strategy and lead a high-performing organization that will be creating high-quality data assets using data from internal and external sources. This role will require managing multiple challenging customers, prioritizing product backlogs, and senior leadership expectation management.

Responsibilities:
- Delivering the vision of Enterprise Data Products at Amerihealth.
- Define vision and manage execution of enterprise data products. Work with various business leaders/stakeholders (Pop Health, Digital, Actuarial, Provider Network, PerformRX, Clinical, Pharmacy, Quality etc.) and own strategy & delivery of data products at enterprise level.
- Understand key business questions and the data needed to answer those questions; dealing with a complex matrix of stakeholders having different interests in the same data asset; ability to identify key gaps in data for the business to be able to answer their questions and discern opportunities for new data service products to fill those gaps; to look broadly across the portfolio and identify opportunities for synergies and repurposing high-quality data products from one area of the business to another.
- Mentor and enable our current associates to thrive in our organization.
- Demonstrate ownership of data integrity; Ensure that it supports the analyses and recommendations being proposed.
- Lead and mentor associates in improving enterprise data quality and building trust in EDO owned data assets
- Monitor and report data security compliance / access controls around our data.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data collection methods and dependencies.
- Work with key stakeholders to integrate analytics requirements, and updates into production cycles.
- Solid knowledge of the SDLC and enforcement of standard software development practices.
- Conduct audits and troubleshoot tracking gaps to maintain data confidence and implement data standardization practices.
- Support a data-driven culture by educating the organization on everyday uses of data as a resource.
- Work with our Data Science / Analytics and other enterprise functions in the organization in helping achieve our product goals.
- Engage and develop strong working relationships with Senior Leaders through effective leadership, communication and change management process.
- Build and lead a world-class team, and be proficient at attracting, developing, and organizing talent in support of Amerihealth client focus and culture of excellence.
Qualifications / Education:
- Seven (7) years overall Data & Analytics leadership, budget and staff management experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in building & leading Data Products teams to build and deliver data products for enterprise consumption.
- Seven (7) years of experience in building partnerships with business functions (Pop Health, Digital, Actuarial, Provider Network, Clinical, Pharmacy, Quality etc.) to define & execute data product strategy.
- Experience leading a data products teams, client-first mentality, collaborative and helpful attitude.
- Databricks, Snowflake and Azure cloud experience around Data technologies and frameworks.
- Consistent record of strong leadership within highly matrixed organizations.
- Experience creating and executing effective change management, leading others through transformational change.
- Broad and deep understanding of data systems (e.g., industry platforms, data tools, portals, workflow, automation), digital savvy, and experienced in surfacing technological/digital solutions to solve business issues.
- Demonstrable experience leading, developing, and motivating professional level staff.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal clients to understand their business needs.
- Business Intelligence experience, preferably PowerBI, SSIS, Tableau, Databricks Analytics Studio.
- Expert knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data schemas, etc.
- Proven knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Extensive experience working with a Data Science / Product organization group and enabling them to deliver at a fast pace.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines; manage work in a fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Knowledge of common ingestion patterns and how to utilize real-time, stream based processing.
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies.
- Knowledge of business risk, solid understanding of robust operating procedures and controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related studies; or equivalent related project experience.
