Center of Excellence (COE) Experience is Must
We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Architect with a strong background in establishing and leading a Center of Excellence (COE) for Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing Power BI solutions while also developing and maintaining best practices within a COE framework.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and implementation of Power BI solutions to meet business requirements.
2. Establish and lead a Center of Excellence for Power BI, providing guidance and best practices to the team.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
4. Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI.
5. Optimize Power BI performance and ensure scalability of solutions.
6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
7. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and capabilities and assess their potential impact on the organization's analytics strategy.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Power BI Architect with a strong understanding of data visualization and analytics.
2. Demonstrated experience in establishing and leading a Center of Excellence for Power BI.
3. In-depth knowledge of Power BI features, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and administration.
4. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
7. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Power BI development and architecture.
- Previous experience in establishing and leading a Power BI COE is highly desirable.
