Director Business Transformation

Akumin is looking to transform the outpatient radiology space through autonomous workflows. The Director of Business Transformation will be a key member of the Transformation Office responsible for managing and delivering on the company's critical transformation programs.

• You will be responsible for planning & execution of critical initiatives working with cross-functional teams & vendors.
• Detailed oriented and meticulousness in planning the initiatives with target dates, KPIs to measure success, & resource planning.
• Establish a strong operating mechanism to monitor and control initiatives including tracking progress against plans, managing risks, removing barriers & keeping stakeholders apprised.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience

A strong candidate will have the qualification & experience in most, if not all of the below areas:

• A Bachelors degree in engineering, health & life sciences, or business administration
• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare industry leading programs or key initiatives from planning to execution
• Ability to navigate in a matrixed organization and lead by influence, strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with PACS or RIS systems

Travel requirements are listed below.

• Remote role, requiring travel of up to 25-35% to meet with key stakeholders and visit Akumin locations.

• Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
• See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time:

• Stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Climb and balance.
• Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam)
