What to Expect:
You will be leading the division's retail and channel marketing vision and strategy for our suite of leading global and local brands (KitKat, Aero, Turtles, Smarties, Coffee Crisp) and season (Halloween, Christmas etc). You will drive strategies that improve category and brand presence in retail, driving objectives through shopper-centric solutions. By bringing to bear insights from consumers, categories, channels, customers, and competitors, you will develop impactful shopper and customer value propositions and channel expansion plans. Collaborating with sales and marketing teams, you will ensure these propositions resonate, encouraging business growth, innovation, and insights.

A day in the life:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive category-level strategies and programs based on Demand Moments to drive growth, including a three-year presence plan, channel expansion plans, and shopper marketing programs that elevate strategic partnerships (NHL, Formula One) and align with brand teams and category sales development.
  • Develop and validate Availability, Visibility and Accessibility tools to support innovation and renovation plans, and test new shopper engagement strategies.
  • Lead the Divisional Retail Development Strategy in partnership with category sales development, prioritizing in-store initiatives around key opportunities and leading all aspects of retail development programs.
  • Identify shopper insight gaps affecting Market Business Strategy delivery and develop insights in collaboration with the Marketing Intelligence Manager for both online and offline channels, sharing findings with brand teams and category sales development.
  • Collaborate on eContent and E-Commerce strategies, divisional eSearch and Digital Shelf strategy, and craft deployment plans for commercial planning.
  • Achieve divisional Availability, Visibility and Accessibility (AVA) efficiency goals, improve strategies, and boost profitability.
  • Mentor a high performing team of three individuals.


Role Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Business or Marketing.
  • Possess eight years of experience in Sales and Marketing, leading brand marketing and shopping plan, including digital and media strategies and e-commerce, along with three years of proven experience in people management.
  • Proven strategic and execution skills with track record of delivering strong growth results and developing insight-based category strategies and planning.


Preferred Skills
  • Proven capability in transforming processes and strategies, crafting standard methodologies, and efficiently coordinating critical, intricate divisional strategic projects.
  • Strong understanding of focus retailers and their go-to-market strategies, coupled with extensive cross functional project management experience and knowledge of end-to-end business operations.
