This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office, with an expected salary range of $80,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year, depending on experience, education, and any certifications directly related to the position. The Period of Performance (POP) is from April 15, 2025, to August 31, 2026, and the position is full-time.

Overview
Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for a LabVIEW Developer to join our team in Denver, CO.
The LabVIEW Developer will contribute to the development of LabVIEW software used for testing flight systems within the Orion Program. This position requires proficiency with LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA, and LabVIEW Real-Time for test and measurement applications, as well as experience with Python and C++,. The ideal candidate will have experience with test and measurement equipment, both NI and non-NI, such as power supplies, DAQ (AI/AO/DIO), DMMs, Switches, and Relays and with communications protocols such as VISA, TCP, and RS-232/422 and experience with Linux OS. Candidates should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and Lockheed Martin technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop LabVIEW programs for testing and validating spacecraft systems.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and unit testing.
  • Candidate will work in a team environment utilizing software methodologies and processes. Strong communication skills required.
  • Candidate must be able to apply logical thinking and creative problem solving to development of new capabilities or troubleshooting existing systems.
  • Collaborate with Lockheed Martin technical teams to integrate simulation software into testing environments.
  • Assist in debugging, optimizing, and maintaining simulation software for performance and accuracy.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to provide status and coordinate with teammates


Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years + of professional experience
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ for simulation software development.
  • Extensive experience developing software with LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA, and LabVIEW Real-Time for test and measurement applications
  • Experience with test and measurement equipment, both NI and non-NI, such as power supplies, DAQ (AI/AO/DIO), DMMs, Switches, and Relays
  • Experience with communications protocols such as VISA, TCP, and RS-232/422 and experience with Linux OS
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have US Citizenship.
  • Motivated self-starter willing to take initiative.
  • Ability to attain and maintain respect and confidence of the customer and contract personnel. A close, cooperative customer interface is essential.
  • Mature, professional judgment in establishing objectives, milestones and priorities.
  • Reliable and dependable work habits and dedication to get the job done.


DESIRED:
  • NI LabVIEW Certified Developer or Certified Architect
  • Experience with software tools to perform version control (Perforce), peer reviews (code collaborator), and bug/issue reporting (Jira).
  • Candidate should have knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and unit testing.
