As a Lead Accountanton Corporate HR Control and Employee Accounting team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our HR department. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities including learning and helping support the administration of the Executive Deferred Compensation and Director Deferral Plans, 401k plan accounting, preparing account reconciliations for all federal, state, and local tax liability accounts and acting as the Reviewer for Corporate HR health and benefits plan journal entries and account reconciliations. Your role involves independent judgment to hypothesize the causes of changes in expenses, and the skill to extract, manipulate, and combine data to support your conclusions.

This is a hybrid role located in Mayfield Village, OH.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting and a minimum of 6 years of accounting work experience, with at least 4 years in corporate or public accounting.

Preferred skills

  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and communicate accounting & financial reporting issues to management timely and concisely
  • Highly proficient and comfortable with extensive use of Excel
  • Experience coaching and mentoring lower-level accounting staff or interns

Compensation

  • $87,200 - $116,300/year based on position level
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance and position level
