Job Title: Software Engineer 3 - Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled RPA Developer to join the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team within the Administrative Applications group. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient RPA solutions to improve business processes and operational workflows.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Blue Prism, as well as a solid understanding of databases, web services, and automation architecture. This position requires strong collaboration skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Hands-on RPA development experience, including at least 4 years with Blue Prism 8 Required Strong experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases 8 Required Proficiency in developing and integrating with RESTful web services 4 Preferred Programming experience in C#, Java, or Python 4 Preferred Experience in process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution architecture 4 Preferred Web development knowledge including HTML, JavaScript, DOM, and HTTP protocols 4 Preferred Experience with JDBC API development 4 Preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including QA and troubleshooting

Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen's client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders and process owners to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
- Lead all phases of the RPA development lifecycle: discovery, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
- Design and develop automated workflows using RPA tools (primarily Blue Prism).
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize existing automation scripts, enhancing performance through updates or reconfiguration.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure reliable and accurate automation outcomes.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of automation solutions.
